This afternoon, LFI parliamentarians have attended a briefing from the Abraham Initiatives, a non-profit organisation which works to promote “full and equal citizenship and complete equality of social and political rights for Israel’s Jewish and Arab citizens”, in Parliament.
Co-hosted by LFI and the New Israel Fund, attendees heard from Amnon Be’eri-Sulitzeanu and Dr. Thabet Abu Rass, Co-Executive Directors of the Abraham Initiatives, for a wide-ranging discussion covering their work to promote shared societies in Israel’s mixed cities, to the role of Arab Israelis in the recent protests against the Israeli government’s judicial reforms.
