LFI Lords chair Baroness Ramsay has today met with a delegation of local government politicians from Israel’s mixed cities, including Haifa and Ramla, as part of a trip organised by the Abraham Initiatives.
Baroness Ramsay was briefed on the ongoing Shared Cities Initiative and developments since last May’s inter-communal tensions in Israel. The delegation will also visit Northern Ireland to learn about community cohesion and how the peace process there worked to strengthen cross-community relations.
