LFI had a major presence at the Jewish Labour Movement one-day conference in north London, including a stall and several sessions on issues relating to Israel and the wider Middle East.
The day began with an event on the upcoming 2026 Knesset elections, chaired by former LFI chair Louise Ellman, alongside Dr Shai Agmon of University College London and Chatham House’s Professor Yossi Mekelberg.

The second session, also chaired by Dame Louise, featured Dr Melanie Garson of UCL and Michael Stephens, an associate fellow at RUSI, and explored the ongoing protests in Iran and developments elsewhere in the region.

The final session was a conversation with Middle East minister Hamish Falconer, hosted by LFI honorary chair Mark Sewards.
