At Tuesday’s Urgent Question on the situation in Israel and Gaza, LFI vice-chair Diana Johnson MP asked for an update on the government’s plans to proscribe the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Iran’s terror army that is a crucial conduit with Hamas and Hezbollah.
She asked: “We all know that behind Hamas sits the malign power of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The same is true of Hezbollah and the Houthis. With the Foreign Secretary having been in post for five months, can the Minister update the House on what progress has been made on proscribing the IRGC?”
