LFI co-hosts parliamentary screening of Nova festival documentary

This afternoon, LFI jointly hosted a cross-party APPG parliamentary screening of Nova, a film documenting the atrocities at the Nova music festival on October 7th.

Nova offers an account of the horrific massacre at the Supernova music festival at Kibbutz Re’im on October 7th. Located near the Gaza border, the attendees at this festival were among the first victims of the Hamas attacks on October 7th, at which 364 of the nearly 1,200 total victims were killed, and further 40 were taken hostage from the festival alone. Using on the ground footage, the documentary provides a minute-by-minute account of the attack, as well as the experience of survivors and their hostage families as they deal with the trauma of that day’s events.

Nova is produced by Yes Studios, an Israel-based production company that has produced several award-winning documentaries. It is directed by Dan Pe’er, a documentary filmmaker who volunteered to help survivors following the attacks on October 7th.
