Labour MPs and peers attend a briefing from the Israeli deputy ambassador.
This afternoon, a number of Labour MPs and peers were briefed by the Israeli deputy ambassador, Oren Marmorstein, and Thomas Hand, whose 9-year-old daughter Emily has been held hostage by Hamas in Gaza since 7 October.
The briefing, which took place in Parliament and was organised by LFI, included a short screening of footage retrieved from Hamas terrorists on 7 October. The attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions on a range of topics, including Israel’s strategy to retrieve the hostages and the situation in the West Bank.
