Responding to outgoing LFI chair Jon Pearce MP’s appointment as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, LFI director Michael Rubin said: “I’d like to wish Jon a hearty congratulations on this very well-deserved appointment; we’re delighted for him.
Jon has been a phenomenal chair of LFI, providing courageous and principled leadership at a time of enormous challenge. Following his appointment, we are sorry that he is stepping down with immediate effect but it is for the best possible reason and everyone at LFI wishes him every success.”
