On the Sunday at conference, LFI hosted a packed fringe event at Labour conference in which delegates heard testimony from relatives of Israeli hostages who have been held in Gaza by Hamas for almost a year now.
In a session chaired by LFI vice-chair Sharon Hodgson MP, delegates heard poignant and powerful stories from Ilay and Galia David, brother and mother respectively of hostage Eviatar David, 23, and Sharon Lifschitz, daughter of hostage Oded Lifschitz, 84.
