Meta Ramsay was an indomitable woman. It was a privilege to serve alongside her as parliamentary chairs of LFI. She was a true friend to the Jewish community and she always stood firmly against antisemitism.

My thoughts are with her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all.

Meta Ramsay was a public servant of immense intelligence, principle and bravery. She was a loyal and dedicated friend of Israel and the Jewish community and a fierce opponent of antisemitism.

The IDF announced that Sgt. Rotem Yanai, 20, a non-commissioned officer in the Givati Brigade’s 435th Battalion, died during operational activity in northern Israel; two reserve soldiers were also injured in the incident.
